How do I know what size to buy? If your plans are to use the candle in your bathroom then a smaller diameter is fine however if your wanting to fill the air with the scent of your candle in your family room then a 3 1/2 up will do the trick.

I just lit my candle for the first time and I have wax on the jar after a 2 hr burn why?  Always burn your candle at least until it reaches full pool "side to side melt pool" or no longer than 4 hrs. Many times the first burn you will notice some wax on the sides however trim your wick to 1/4" for a cotton wicks and 1/8" for wood wicks this insures a correct flame and maximizes your burn time. Most times the wick will catch up to the wax on the second or 3 rd burn.  Never pour wax out of your candle, this will certainly cause a tunneling effect.
